Danie D. McMichael, Sr.

Danie D. McMichael, Sr., 96, of Lynchburg, VA, died Monday, April 6, 2026 at Liberty Ridge Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of the late Delores Virginia McMichael for forty-three years.

He was born February 1, 1930 in Little Britain, PA a son of the late Joseph McMichael and Muade Head McMichael. He was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church, a retired Truck Driver and a previous employee of Kroger and Food Lion.

He is survived by two sons, Joseph McMichael and his wife, Connie of Troutdale, VA and Samuel McMichael of Lancaster, PA; a daughter in law, Kathy McMichael; three brothers, William McMichael of Lebanon, PA, Norman McMichael and his wife, Frannie of Palmrya, and Lester McMichael of Harrisburg; one sister, Doris McMichael and her husband, Rick of New Cumberland; seven grandchildren, Adam, Andrew (Amy), Molly (Eric), Jeffrey, Bridgette, Sarah (Don) and Sam Jr.; six great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Danie McMichael; a daughter in law, Robin McMichael; two brothers, Malcom McMichael and Lew McMichael; and one sister, Wanda McMichael.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of The Rosary Church, 80 S. 17th Ave., Coatesville, PA 19320 with visitation at the church from 10:00 AM to the time of the service followed by burial at St. Cecilia Cemetery, Coatesville, PA.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Wilde Funeral Home of Parkesburg, PA.
