Cynthia J. Chesnet, 68, of Ronks, PA, passed away at her home on Monday, July 14, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Dale R. Chesnet with whom she shared 38 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Harriet E. Newswanger Cribbs and William Studd.

Cindy was an area resident most of her life and a 1975 graduate of the Octorara High School.

She was employed, for many years, at the former Carmen's Restaurant in downtown Parkesburg as a cook and waitress.

She is survived, in addition to her husband, by her brother Tim Studd Newswanger and wife Lisa of West Grove, PA and her faithful pet dog Toby of 14 years.

Services will be private, at the convenience of the family.
