Obituary

Constance L. "Connie" Flinn, 78, of Glenmoore, Pa., passed away on Friday, Febuary 17, 2012 at her home.  She was the widow of the late Lewis E. Flinn Sr.


Born in Parkesburg, she was the daughter of the late Henry Skiles and Katherine Fox Root, and her stepfather, William Root, Sr..

She was employed as a Dental Assistant for the V.A. Medical Center of Coatesville and Dr. Samuel Abrams; and most recently had worked for Digital Graphics of Morgantown.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.  Connie loved to Square Dance and traveling with her friends.

She is survived by her beloved son, Lewis E. Flinn Jr., husband of Georgeann, of Glenmoore; her siblings, Harvard Root of Michigan, William Root of West Chester, and Kay Gregory of West Viginia; two grandchildren, Jennifer Baum, wife of Brian, and Megan Flinn; and one great granddaughter, Allison Baum.

Predeceased by her sister, Patricia Taggart.

The Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 11 AM at Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, with visitation from 10 until 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Connie's memory to the American Heart Association, PO Box 15120, Chicago, IL 60693.
