Catherine J. Filler, 77, of Parkesburg, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at the Brandywine Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Franklin A. Filler, III, with whom she shared 58 years of marriage.

Born in Greenville, S.C., on May 29, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Caroline and Joseph Mansour.

She is survived, in addition to her husband, by three children: Carolyn Aker of Dover, DE, Ronald K. Filler, husband of Karen, of Lancaster, and John F. Filler, husband of Bethann, of Rising Sun, MD; five grandchildren and her brother, Fred Mansour, of Taylors, S.C. She was predeceased by her son, Gerald Filler and brother, John Mansour.

The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 13, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by interment in the Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery of Lancaster. Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing, which will be held at the Funeral Home from 1 until 2 PM.
