Obituary

Carolyn B. Leike, 83, of Coatesville, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2013 at the Freedom Village.  She was the widow of the late William J. Leike, who passed away in 2008 after they had shared 57 years of marriage.


Born in Coatesville, Carolyn was the daughter of the Robert and Frances Virginia (George) Bea.  An area resident her entire life, she was the a graduate of the Scott High School.  Carolyn was a member of the Olivet U.M. Church of Coatesville.

Carolyn enjoyed playing in the Friday Evening Senior Bowling League.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl A. Leike of Coatesville and sister-in-law, Joyce Leike of Fort Myers, FL.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Linda L. Leike.

The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 4th at 3 PM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by interment in the Upper Octorara Cemetery of Parkesburg.  Viewing will be from 2 until 3 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Willow Tree Hospice, 616 E Cypress St  Kennett Square, PA 19348 or to Handi-Crafters, 215 Barley Sheaf Rd., Thorndale, PA 19372.
