Bonnie Lou Whitehead

Bonnie Lou Whitehead, 57, of Valley Township, PA, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025, in West Chester, PA.  She was the wife of Robert A. Whitehead for over 35 years.  Born in Coatesville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert L. Jr. and Ethel (Owens) Winward. She was raised by late Charles and Mary Rice of Pomeroy,  Pa.

Bonnie graduated from Coatesville High School in 1986 and was a purchaser for The Witmer Fire Store in Coatesville.  She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Pomeroy. She enjoyed singing and 80's music.

Besides her husband she is survived by a daughter, Cheyenne Whitehead of Coatesville, sister in law Stacie  Whitehead  of Pomeroy and neices Kayla and  Madison  Seese and siblings, Patrick Newlin, James Rice, Nancy Russell, and Judy Blain.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Chubby Rice. Bonnie also has a sister Shirley Behrenshauser and she was preceded in death by another brother Robert Winward. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. from the Wilde Funeral Home, Parkesburg, PA, with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m.  Interment to follow at Glen Run Cemetery located on Lantz, Rd in Atglen, PA.
