Bonnie K.
Tribbett
Sep 30, 1955 — Jun 14, 2026
Bonnie K. (O'Brien) Tribbett, 70, of Pomeroy, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly at home on June 14, 2026. Her life, defined by warmth, generosity, and quiet strength, touched all who had the privilege to know her. She was raised in Delaware County by Walter and Jule O'Brien with three siblings Patricia Hefton (husband Fred), Colleen Slavick, and Cole O'Brien Sr (wife Patricia).
Her family was always at the center of Bonnie’s world. Her devotion to her family stretched across generations, and her love was a guiding light for those who called her Mom, Mom-Mom, or Bon. Bonnie is lovingly survived by daughter Marci Pluck (husband Chico), son Daniel Tribbett (wife Jaime), and "bonus" children Robert and Suzanne Liney. She has numerous grandchildren Joshua Pluck (girlfriend Angel Principato), Nicholas Pluck (fiance Renee Hernandez), Trinity Pluck, Madison Pluck, Dani Lynn Tribbett, Tayler Liney, Myah Liney, Adelynn Liney, and Peyton Liney. Each held a special place in her heart, and it was in their laughter and shared memories where Bonnie found her greatest joy.
Her story is also marked by heartbreaking loss—most deeply felt through the passing of her beloved husband, Robert Tribbett Sr., and her youngest child, Robert Tribbett Jr. While their absence was a sorrow she lived with, she always honored them through a resilient hope and her unwavering devotion to her family’s happiness.
Those who knew Bonnie will remember her not only for the roles she embraced, but her nurturing presence, and sense of humor she brought to every moment. Her unconditional love extended beyond the bounds of biology, enriching the lives of all who found themselves in her embrace. Bonnie's arms were always open to the neighborhood children and loved their company especially that of her buddy, Beau Eason, who was her right hand man. She also found comfort in her feathered companion of 30 years, blue and gold mccaw Nicki, her horse Jackson, and fur baby Skye.
Although Bonnie’s time was cut unexpectedly short, the legacy she leaves behind is enduring. Her acts of kindness, her caring heart, and unconditional love will live on through all of those close to her. We take solace in knowing her light endures in the hearts of her loved ones and will remain a guiding presence in their lives.
