Betty J. Mason

Betty J. Mason, 71, of Coatesville, passed away on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2016 at Neighborhood Hospice of West Chester.  She was the widow of the late Theodore Mason.

Born in Sadsbury Township, Betty was the daughter of the late Rhoda Ellen (Trego) and Jay Herbert Wise.  An area resident her entire life, she was a 1962 graduate of Coatesville High School.

She was retired from Walmart's Bakery.

Betty is survived by her sisters, Ethel Backenstose of West Grove, Marlene Recchiuti of Honey Brook, Eleanor Cottrell of Fairfax, VA and Dorothy Wise of Coatesville; her brothers, Bill Wise of Wagontown and Tom Wise of Downingtown; and her nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by two sisters, Mary W. Neal and Pearl V. Dean.

The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 8th, 2016 at 11 AM at Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, with visitation from 10 until 11 AM.  Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery of Coatesville.
