Benjamin J. Witkowski

Benjamin J. Witkowski, 71, of Honey Brook, formerly of Coatesville, passed away at his home on Monday, April 7, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Joy Anderson Witkowski with whom he shared 44 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Stella Kalodski Witkowski.

Ben was an area resident all his life and a 1960 graduate of Octorara High School. He was employed by Alcoa of Downingtown retiring in 2003 with 35 years of service.

He was a member of the 1st Presbyterian Church of Parkesburg and the Masonic Lodge of Parkesburg/Coatesville of which he served as was Past Master and secretary for 30 years.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by his sister, Kathleen McComsey of Newport, PA and three nieces and four nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 11AM from the 1st Presbyterian Church of Parkesburg, Main and Wright Streets, Parkesburg, PA 19365, followed by interment at the Hopewell Methodist Cemetery. Viewing at the church from 10 to 11am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the 1st Presbyterian Church at the above address.
