Beatrice "Betty" Brown died at home on Thursday February 12, 2015.  She was the wife of Thomas A. Brown. They had been married for 49 years.

Beatrice was born in Bryn Mawr and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Bessie (McGarvey) Harkins. Beatrice was a graduate of Villa Maria Academy in Malvern and Immaculata Collage. She had been employed by Wyeth International Division in Great Valley, Allstate Insurance, and Armstrong Engineering.

Besides her husband she is survived by a son, Daniel Brown and two grandsons, Austin and Steven Brown. She was predeceased by a sister, Anne Marie Nichols. Beatrice is also survived by cousins in the United States, Ireland, Greece, Austria, and Australia.

Memorial will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be private.
