Arthur Brown

Arthur Brown, 81, of West Chester, formerly of Parkesburg, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at the Chester County Hospital. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Wilbur and Matilda "Tillie" Gray Brown.

Art grew up in Parkesburg and attended the Octorara Area School District. He was employed by the former McGrail Equipment Company in Parkesburg in the galvanizing department.

He is survived by two granddaughters, five siblings; Leonard Brown, Lucille E. "Kippy" Hammond, Lawrence "Buzz" Brown, Gail Brown and William "Bull" Brown and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two children; Patricia Brown and Arthur Brown, Jr. and nine siblings; David Brown, Raymond Gray, Eugene Brown, Wilbur Brown, Leon Brown, Frank Brown, Marie Butcher, Marian Dorsey and Kathleen Brown.

A Celebration of Service is being planned for a later date and will be posted here when arranged.
