Ann Giacchino, a dedicated mother and grandmother and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2026. Born on February 1, 1950, Ann’s life was marked by a steadfast commitment to caring for others, an attribute she nurtured through her education at Our Lady of Lourdes High School and Saint Joseph's Nursing School.

Ann is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Joe Giacchino, who stood by her side throughout their life together. She is also survived by her two beloved daughters, Kristen Giacchino Dougherty and Jennifer Giacchino-Berrocal, who carry forward her legacy of love and kindness. Kristen’s husband, Dennis Dougherty, and Jennifer’s husband, Mauricio Berrocal, were treasured members of Ann’s close-knit family circle.

The joy of Ann's life extended to her treasured grandchildren: Hadley, Katie, Abby, Lila, Naryani, and Leif, each of whom brought immense happiness and pride to her heart. Their presence was a continual source of delight and fulfillment in her later years.

Ann was also a beloved sister to Janet Samuelian and her husband, Robert Samuelian, as well as to her brother, Jack Lashay, and his wife, Marge. These familial bonds provided strength and comfort throughout her life.

Ann Giacchino’s legacy is one of love, dedication, and unwavering support to her family and community. She found joy in the things that mattered most to her — summers at their Ocean City, NJ beach house, cooking for her family, tending her garden, her work with the Kennett Square Garden Club. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege to know her. Her compassionate nature remains an enduring inspiration to those she leaves behind.

Services for Ann will be provided soon.
