William Raymond Steffe, 84, of Coatesville, passed away on Sunday, October 6th, 2013 at the Brandywine Hosptial.  He was the beloved husband Jacqueline (Kurtz) Steffe, with whom he shared 55 years of marriage.

He was the son of the late Bertha May (Phillips) and William J. Steffe.  And area resident his entire life, he was employed by the Lauri Brothers as a Crane Operator, retiring in 1993.

He is survived by his children: Darlene Elrod of Geneva, OH, Barbara Ann Steffe of Centre, AL, Carl F. Steffe, husband of Tina, of Coatesville and Tammy L. Herman, wife of Mark, of Coatsville; nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his son William Steffe Jr.; and five sisters and one brother.

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 11 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by interment in the Upper Octorara Cemetery.  The viewing will take place from 10 until 11 AM.
