William Albert Bair, 93, previously of Coatesville, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019 at the Hickory House Nursing Home in Honey Brook, PA.  He was the husband of the late Ellen Mast Bair.  Born in Sadsburyville, he was the son of the late Albert R. and Elizabeth A. McWilliams Bair.

Albert was an area resident all his life. He served in the US Army in the Pacific Theater during WWII.  He received the Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon and the WWII Victory Ribbon.  After his honorable discharge in 1946, he came home and worked on his farm.  At retirement, he was employed as a bus driver for Kraph Bus Company.  
He was a life member of the Sadsburyville Fire Company and a member of Upper Octorara Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by one sister Lottie Garnett of Parkesburg and nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his siblings; Betty Lou Stanley, Lewis Bair, Nathan Bair and Doris Toth.

Funeral and burial services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Dear Ronnie and Angie, Mom told me that Albert had passed away peacefully the other day.  I am so sorry to hear of his passing.  Thank you so much for all the care and love that you gave him over the years.  Praying for you all and thinking of you at this time.  I'm so thankful that Pappy Bair was a part of my life.  I will always have wonderful memories of him.  Much love to you!  Gretchen

So sorry to hear of Albert's passing.  I lost track of him after his wife, Ellen, passed.  He was a nice guy and loving husband.
