Wanda Schlimme, 87, of Coatesville, passed away on May 8, 2015.
Born near Cochranville in 1927, she was the daughter of the late Willard and Ida Freed Schnader. Wanda was married to Harper Schlimme on December 26, 1946; they shared 69  years of marriage.

Wanda worked at Pepperidge Farm in Downingtown for a number of years, and drove a school bus for Krapf Bus Company. She enjoyed gardening when at home and traveling across the country in a motorhome with her husband.  She especially enjoyed fishing and clamming at the home they had for years in Chincoteague, Virginia.   

Wanda is survived by her husband Harper, sister Ida, daughter Charlotte, sons Barry and David, six grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by sisters Martha and Belle, brothers Harry and Norman, and her beloved daughter Beverly.

A memorial service will be held at the Hibernia Methodist Church, 220 Hibernia Rd., West Brandywine, PA 19320 on Tuesday, May 12 at 11am with visitation from 10 to 11am.  
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Chincoteague Pony Rescue Inc.
