Susan A. Mattson, 40, of Gap, died at her home on Sunday, November 4, 2012. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of Nancy Farra Mattson of Gap and Samuel Mattson, Sr. of Coatesville. Susan was employed as manager at Hair Express in Parkesburg. She was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Parkesburg.


She is also survived three children;  James M. Carr, Jr. and fiance Ashley Maynard, Coutney M. Carr and Brandon A. Carr all of Gap, and 3 siblings; Samuel Mattson, Jr and Brenda Mattson both of Coatesville and Sandy Mattson Walton of Peach Bottom.


Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 9, 2012 at 11am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg with a viewing from 10 to 11am and also Thursday eve. from 6 to 8pm. Interment, Atglen Presbyterian Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Wilde Funeral Home.

Nancy & Children we are so sorry to hear of Sues passing. She was a beautiful person , whom fault a long hard battle. You all took such wonderful care of her and she will never be forgotten.
