Susan M. Pyott, 68, of Parkesburg, passed away on September 3, 2014,at her home, surrounded by her family.  She was the beloved wife of Thomas Pyott, whom she shared 43 years of marriage.
Born in  Parkesburg, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Edna Diem Young.

Sue was a member of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church.  She was a lifetime member of the Parkesburg Fire Company and the Parkesburg Fire Police.  She was active in the Parkesburg Midget Football league.  She enjoyed bus trips to New York City, camping with the family, listening to oldies and country music and trips to the Jersey Shore and Florida. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived, in addition to her husband, by  three children, Susann, wife of Charles Gill of Parkesburg, Tracy, wife of Neil Weeks of Lincoln University and Michael Pyott of Holtwood, six grandchildren; Calais, Nathan, JT, Renee, Harley and Ashley,  two great grandchildren; Lily and Oliva, three step grandchildren; Darian, Haley and Charles, Jr. and siblings, Kathryn L. Young of Parkesburg and George A. Young and wife Sharon, of Oxford, PA.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Patricia, Robert, Morey, Helen, and Warren.

Memorial services will be private at the convenience of the family.

I love you so much grandma. This is the hardest thing I've ever had to go through, you were like a second mom to me. I always had you to talk to about everything and I know you wouldn't judge or get mad. We were so close.. I know you'll be watching over me and Olivia. You're my angel

I wish I could express the sympathy I feel for you all, losing such an amazing women that I am so thankful I had the pleasure of meeting and spending time with..she will be missed ..let yourself cry knowing that each tear is a note of love..rising to the heavens.

Sorry for the loss of amazing lady. She is an amazing mom, and grandma. Her memory will live forever in each one of her children and grandchildren. Sue is now an angel watching over all of her family like she always did. I will miss you and always love you.

Grandmom I miss you, you will forever be in my heart...I love you soo much!!!  I will never forget the moments and memories we had...especially when you and I would sit up all night on the back porch on them summer nights when I needed someone to talk to...at my house when you and pop pop lived with us and we would talk about how much you loved New York City and you always would ask me to go...and all the good times we shared I truly miss you and love you...YOU ARE MY ANGEL...and I know your looking down on all of us...I talk to you everyday and pray!!! <3 <3 <3  Love your granddaughter Haley

I love you mimi i miss you so much you helped me thru so much i still dont believe your gone. She was the most kind hearted pearson you would ever meet but dont cross her lol she didnt care who you were she spoke her mind she loved everyone i will miss her so much. <3
