Our family is saddened by the loss of Stephen. Our hearts go out to his entire family and especially to Claire. So many evenings I passed him at work on his beautiful lawn, and he waved or nodded. We met a lot clearing snow, and he was so thoughtful to me in my illnesses and recovery. I loved to see his excitement when he told me about playing golf. He was such a kind man and a wonderful neighbor. We will remember him in our thoughts and prayers and pray for peace for all his family. May God Bless you and keep you in His Hands.

I was so sorry to read of Steve's passing. I knew Steve many, many years ago as a young school boy working at G.O. Carlson's. I worked in Shipping and Steve was my boss, and he looked after me like a son (and I needed it!). This was way back in the late 60's, and he was great to work with, and taught me much. I will never forget the day he and I were working on a railroad car when he had a seizure and held my hand. I was so worried, but he was right back to work within a few days, and happy go lucky. Such a good man, and I pray that Steve's wife and entire family will cherish his memory. I will.
