Condolences

Sharon Law was our son's fourth grade teacher at Friendship in 1996. Mrs. Law was the most difficult and demanding teacher that he had in elementary school and we were so happy that he was in her class.

She accepted nothing less that his best efforts and taught him to strive harder and to love academic success. He came to love her and she set him on the path to becoming valedictorian of his class. Mrs. Law showed the same concern and demanded the same efforts of all her students and they and the Coatesville School District were so lucky to have her many years of service. Our deep sympathy to this fine lady's family.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Law was my elementary school teacher at Kings Highway in 1975. She was the nicest teacher and my favorite teacher to this day! She also was my daughter's teacher at Friendship and I always told my daughter to be nice to her becasue she was my favorite teacher. Of course Mrs. Law remembered me too after so many years.

My heart is heavy right now. Just know that she touched so many students lives and made an impact.

God has another beautiful Angel.... Rest In Peace Mrs. Law!

To The Family,
Please accept my condolence. I hope that you are able to draw comfort from the scriptures during this difficult time. If you are grieving, maybe this will also help you. Matthew 22:32, Jesus quoted God as saying: ‘I am the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.’ Then he continued: ‘He is the God, not of the dead, but of the living.’ I know that those words mean that those retained in God’s memory and will return in the resurrection.”

I was so sorry to hear of your family's loss, which is also felt by the Coatesville School District community. She was a dynamic teacher, infusing her class with intelligent curiosity and with humor. Both of my children had Sharon as a teacher and I've worked with her. She was compassionate, caring, and full of energy and joy, for teaching and for living. She will be missed.
