Sarah Trinae Cortlessa, 37, of Coatesville, formerly of Downingtown, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018. Born in West Chester, she was the beloved daughter of Patrick “Pat” Cortlessa Jr. and Glinda L. Jones Cortlessa.

Sarah was an area resident for most of her life and was a graduate of the Downingtown High School.

She is survived in addition to her parents by two children; Jarred Cortlessa and Thomas Kovach of Phoenixville and their father Jeff Kovach, one great aunt; Louella Halsey and a host of family and friends that loved her immensely. She will be greatly missed by her beloved dog “Rocco”. Sarah was preceded in death by her precious two year old son Joseph Kohn.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Wilde Funeral Home of Parkesburg to help offset funeral expenses.

I am not good at writing these but here goes .In your time of mourning you need to remember the good times and memories y’all shared. And it is important to talk to family and friends about her, yes it does hurt to talk about things but it does help in the healing process and remember we will all be together again I love you and I know this is hard for all of you but I am here if you need to talk cry scream anytime

I'm so saddened by this news! Sarah was my best friend on our street. One of the first friends I made when we moved to Downingtown. I'll never forget all the sleepovers and hours we spent playing in the basement! I'm so sorry we lost touch over the years, I wish I could have been there for you more.

Im very heartbroken tht u went away Sarah but i guess god was ready for a beautiful angel so u had to go your with the baby now and im sure your happy n smiling down god bless ur soul n may u rest in peace bbygrl fly high my love! Prayers to her two sons n family
