Dear Denny and Sandy:

Thank you for your note. Sammy was diagnosed with cancer last
August and he was responding well to chemo. He was very sick but would not tell anyone. Everything was starting to shut down and his heart finally stopped on Tuesday night. To say the least I was not ready to be a widow but Mom was only 60 when Daddy died and she went on for 39 years so I guess I will go on too. I thought we would have another year but it wans't to be. Thanks again for writing. Always remember that he loved you both and keep us in your thoughts and prayers. I love you both. Be well.
