Ronald W. Patton, Sr., 91, of Valley Township, Chester County, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024 at the Southeastern Veterans Center in Spring City, PA. He was the husband of the late Charlotte A. Romanoski Patton who died in 2015, they shared 60 years of marriage together. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Robert K. Patton, Sr. and Margaret A. Warner Patton.

Ron was an area resident all his life and a 1951 graduate of the former Scott High School in Coatesville. He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War from 1951 -1953. He was employed by the Lukens Steel Company for 43 years as upender operator.

Ron was a member of the Olivet United Methodist Church and he served as a USWA Grievance Committeeman.

He is survived by four children; Karen Samms (Larry) of Plymouth, MI, Ronald W. Patton, Jr. of Valley Township, Barbara Jo Cox of Georgia and Laurie Patton (Tom Sollers) of Parkesburg, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother Robert K. Patton, Jr.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
