Bob was a good friend to my husband, George, and when the two of them were together the laughs were non-stop.  The Bob Guiney stories will last forever and I will always smile when his name is mentioned.  He was a regular customer of mine at Turkey Hill and used to trick me with crazy stunts everyday.  He was the kind of friend you wanted in your corner.  RIP Bob, we all love and will miss you.

Linda, Jack, Lisa, Alan, and the rest of your family members: I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle Bobby. What a special man. Many memories of him down at the barn. I can remember stopping with Uncle Frank as a kid and the two uncles would talk farm stuff. My thoughts are with you all during this time.

to the family and friends of Bob Guiney,

Please know that I share your sorrow as we all face the reality that Bob is no longer with us. As Renee’s first husband I had the chance to know and appreciate all that Bob did for his family. He always had a big contagious laugh and always seemed have joy and laughter in his heart. He was by far one of hardest workers around.

Bob is the only extended family member from Renee’s  family I have ever met since our divorce in 1985. I met him at the Turkey Hill in Cockernville. After  sharing a few minutes talking, he said “just because you are divorced from Renee, you are not divorced from my family. Please stop and visit with us anytime”!

Like his father Paul, Bob worked long and hard to produce a productive farm for his family. May you always know that as you continue that tradition, you are continuing their work.

God bless you all,

David Witmer

Dear Family: Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. Bob was a good guy; full of life with a pleasant attitude and a hard worker all his life. From time to time I would check with Linda on how he was coming along. I decided to call him during his stay at the rehabilitation facility. We had a short but inspiring conversation. I didn't realize it was lunch time and apologized for the inconvenience. He didn't seem to mind, or at least I hope he didn't. Prior to going into the facility, Jimmy and I would run into him at the Parkesburg Mobile Station where we would laugh and talk. I'm sure all who know Bob Guiney will surely miss him.
Our thoughts and prayers for peace and comfort are with all of you. (Jimmy & Bonnie Harris-Dickinson)
