I am so saddened by Uncle Bobby's passing. I just take pleasure in the fact that being so far from home I was able to spend a good bit of time with him and the family in the last year and a half. It surely was a blessing making some more memories with him. I love you all and know that if we could be there we would but we will be there in spirit hugging you all. Love and miss you guys.

                                                              Robert Baxter

                                              Husband, Father, Son, and Friend

I met Bob and Peggy through the friendship of our Sons, which has lasted throughout the years. I always saw him as a very kind and generous man. His home was always a haven for someone in need. He was someone who was available at all times for family and friends. I enjoyed visits with him and his wife Peggy, because they always made me feel welcome.  I was always taken back by his stories that ended up being some sort of joke. Bob you got me everytime taking me from seriousness to rolling with laughter, and that grin of yours after knowing you had gotten me yet again. You will missed by many, But most assuredly By your family. This is a somber time for many, however with time and good friends gathering around for support and most importantly the Love, Mercy and Grace of God will be with them and around them through this most difficult time and always there will come a time when tears will fade and smiles will return as they visit their memories of you they has kept safe in their hearts. You are only a thought away. I believe you continue to look upon them, even now, I am praying they can feel your presence around them and find Peace knowing you are neve really gone and one day you will all be together once again and Heaven will be even brighter because all of you are there.  With sincere Prayers, Blessings and Love Barb Hine

Wow I could write a book about this man. I'm so lost. When I was lost and trying to find my way in life this man took me in and made me his family. He wasn't BOB to me he was dad. He was always there for me even at times when he truly shouldn't of been and for that I am truly thankful and blessed to have been one of many people to have known him. I just wanna say thank you for being you and accenting me. You will never be missed but never forgotten.

Robert Baxter R I P my good man. It is unfortunate for your family and friend that you had to leave us so soon. Everyone will miss you greatly. I know you will be watching over everyone. And I would like you to know I am sorry I didn't get to tell you face to face. As long as I am physically able and she allows me I will be there to take care of your little girl. So don't worry about her but continue to look over us.
Sincerely,
Pudgie

I was thinking about him yesterday and today. I miss my Poppop. He would tell me stories and give me advice when I was hurting. I never was very good with strangers as a kid but my Poppop knew so many people and whenever I was around I was introduced to alot of them. I guess I went from being shy to being very open from a bit of his influence. I was 17 when he passed I think... I sometimes wish I could hug him and tell him I love him still. I just think of him sometimes.
