I am so happy that I got to be a part of Renate 's life, especially towards the end. We had many talks that had a lot of laughter telling stories from when we worked together to tears when we talked about life and our futures. She is the strongest person I have ever met. We ended each call or text with I love you, and many I love yous and kisses the last few weeks. I will miss our chats, our texts and most of all miss her.

I will always cherish the memories of good times we had over the many years.  As the Brother of Renate's beloved husband Merritt, I can only say that I have never known a more selfless and caring person than Renate.  God rest your soul.

Renate will always be special to everyone. Growing up she always had that smile on her face especially when she was talking to our cousin Ginger. When my band would be playing at different venues, I would look out into the audience and she would smile up at me on stage. She will always be Missed and Loved by Karen and I. Rest in Peace. We Love You

What a gal!!  I had the wonderful experience of knowing and enjoying Renate's company since 10th grade in high school.  She will be missed in my world as she was the best at telling stories and being silly, all to make us laugh. I will cherish my memories of Renate, although I'm glad she is now with her beloved husband, Merritt and their dog, Tess.  Her sister, Theresa, was so wonderful taking care of Renate which allowed Renate to enjoy her home and friends during her illness.  Thanks Renate for being you!!  Will miss you and love you forever!!

Renate is now with the angels. Theresa, you were her guardian angel here on earth. Our families grew up together in Coatesville and Downingtown and spent many memorable times together. You are now pain free and at peace.

In loving Memory
of my dear Sister Renate!

Although we met late in our lives
but it was as if we had known
each other all along.
Even with the Miles between us,
we had a true Sister-to-Sister relationship.
Always being in touch
knowing what is happening in our lives.
It was wonderful
having been on trips together, and an
opportunity to attend a “von Gossler”
family reunion in Germany.
There are many fond memories
of my Sister that will always
be cherished.

You will be missed,
May you rest in piece.

Your Sister Karin and Families

It was only in the past year I really got to know Renate, but I quickly learned she was incredibly compassionate towards others and cared a great deal for those close to her.

Even with the difficulties she dealt with, she always remained positive. It’s rare to meet such a good-hearted and genuine person such as Renate. May she rest in peace.

You were a person of reference for many years. Holding my brother Merritt steady with your love and strength. Endurance rooted in God. You are precious in my memory Renate.

Renate will be deeply missed by the Hayden family. Like parents right next door, Carl and I have loved Renate for the last 15 years and Merritt for the first 10 years in our home. We were SO lucky to have them as neighbors. Fun, wise and so very kind and thoughtful. We will never forget them. Our children loved Renate like a grandmother.  May she rest in peace.

To Theresa and Family, my sincere condolences in the passing of Renate.  I had the honor of working with Renate at G.O.C. for many years.  We could always count on her stories and humor to

uplift our dreariest of days.  She was such a compassionate and caring person with always a smile for everyone.  I'm sure she will be missed by those whose lives she touched.  God Bless.

Dear Teresa and Monica. You two were such angels at the end taking such good care of her that Renates last days could be spent beside her back windows watching her birds.  I already feel such a loss. She would text us late at night with crazy cartoons. Our high school group will feel such a void. She was our entertainment, should I even mention her chicken dance!  She was such a wonderful, caring person and I couldn’t ask for a better friend. Almost 60 good years of memories. See ya up there Renate! Love you💕 sue
