Nadine E. Chandler, 65, of Parkesburg, passed away at her home on Tuesday, October, 22, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Wayne A. Chandler with whom she shared 45 years of marriage. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Ward Hetrick and Shirley Kauffman Jordan.

Nadine was an area resident all her life and a 1971 Graduate of the Octorara High School. She was employed for 25 years by the Harrison House Nursing Home in Christiana as a hairdresser.  Down through the years Nadine attended the Kelton Church of Christ, the West Chester Church of Christ and more recently Grace Community Church of Parkesburg, PA.

She is survived, in addition to her husband, by three sons; Brad Chandler and wife Jenn of Sinking Spring, Daric Chandler and wife Laura of Parkesburg, and Greg Chandler and wife Sarah also of Parkesburg, three grandchildren, Autumn Chandler, Ghrey Chandler,  and Luke Chandler and seven siblings; Judy Leshner, Bob Jordan, Donnie Jordan, Scott Jordan, Wendy Hetrick, Lori Hetrick, and Collette Hetrick.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA 19365 followed by interment at the Glen Run Baptist Cemetery, Atglen, PA. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing at the funeral home from 10:00 - 11:00 AM.

Wayne, so sorry to hear of Nadine (Deenie) to me when we were children. My closest friend as a child. I think of you both often. Especially when I see the black / while kittens walking across the road. My prayers are with you and your family. Loved her dearly.
