Mary T. Baxter, 81, of Lancaster, passed away on Sunday, July 19th, 2020 under the care of Hospice and Community Care of Mt. Joy.  She was the widow of Wilson H. Baxter, with whom she shared 41 years of marriage.  

Born in Coatesville, Mary was the daughter of the late Sandra (DeFrank) and John Trolio.  She was a 1956 graduate of Coatesville Area Senior High.  Mary worked for Bell Telephone of West Chester for 13 years, Coatesville School District for 32 years, and Bird-In-Hand Restaurant for 15 years.  

Mary was a parishioner for Our Lady of the Rosary, Coatesville.  

Mary loved to cook, gamble at the casinos in Delaware Park, gardening, shop, and especially spending time with her best friend and daughter.  

She is survived by her daughter, Jenifer L. Baxter of Lancaster.  Mary was predeceased, in addition to her husband and parents, by her two siblings, James Trolio and Camilla "Dolly" Berkey.  

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 24th at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 80 S 17th Ave, Coatesville, PA 19320, followed by interment at St. John's Episcopal Church Cemetery in Compass.  Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at the Church from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.  Please be advised that masks and appropriate social distancing are required at the Church.

Jen, I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. She was a wonderful person and very quiet neighbor. I am going to miss stopping to see her.
