Marjorie Joyce Wright, 68, of Christiana, formerly of Pomeroy, passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2010.
Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Florence Weeks Kresge and Samuel W. McCarter.
She had been employed by McGrails of Parkesburg for 29 years, and Lukens Steel for 12 years.
The Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 17 at 7 p.m. at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation, which will be held from 5 until 7 PM.

On this day I lost a very special person. My sister. Joyce knew alot of people, she touched alot of lives and will be forever missed by me. Thanks for all the wonderful memories I will hold them in my heart forever. Have a wonderful journey.

Ms Joyce, I will always remember you and your sweet spirit. I would like to tell her nieces that she was soooo proud of you and so grateful that she was with you. She really loved her family. To her little nephew, she always told me that you were a great kid and she was also proud of you. She enjoyed spending the end of your summer vacation with you. May you be comforted in knowing that you all made your aunt and sister very happy and she loved you all. She is sadly missed.
