Condolences

I was very sorry to learn of Marcella passing. She worked for me at Gimbels from when we opened in 1974 until i left in 1984. She was always talking about her girls and the trips to Italy. She was a wonderful and interesting person to talk to. One time she had several of the ladies from the domestics department to her home and we saw some of the beautiful quilts she made. She also showed us her stash of material and we all had a good laugh at the amount of fabric she had. I often wondered if she was able to use all it.

I'm sorry that I can attend her memorial service as we are going out of town. My blessings for her and for her family. I'm sure she will make some beautiful quilts in heaven.

Sincerely
Jessie Plyler
