Mallisa Marie Holbert, 33, of Parkesburg, died at her home in Parkesburg on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 as the tragic result of a house fire. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of John Holbert, Sr. and the late Brenda Ann Luckart Garcia.

Mallisa was a graduate of the Avon Grove High School and a resident of Parkesburg for the last ten years. 

She is survived by five siblings; John Holbert, Jr. of California, Felicia Garcia, Erica Luckart, Bianca Cortez and Brianna Cortez all of Parkesburg and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private, at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made in her memory directly to the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA 19365 to help defray funeral expenses.

We miss and love you so much! We know without a doubt you are in a better place.  Free from your wheelchair and able to soar to heights unknown.  we know that you are with your Mom and that makes you so happy! You will always be in our hearts, never forgotten and always loved.  R.I.P and know we will see you again and eat banana pudding together.  Save us a seat funny girl!!

Miss Melissa, in the short amount of time I had the great honor of knowing you. You have become a beautiful and bountiful source of honesty, comfort and friendship. I will forever cherish our little talk . As long as I'm in your beautiful princess of a nieces life, I will never let her forget you. You are in your parents and your gods hands now. Go in peace.

I am sorry to hear of your passing. Eric told me about the day after and I am still in a bit of a shock. Prayers to all of your family during this time. I hope you are at peace in heaven with your mother.
