Jacob Anton Cihak, 79 (Jake, Jack), of East Fallowfield, passed away on January 19, 2024 at the Chester County Hospital in West Chester, PA. He was the beloved husband of Gail Ann Jadlocki Cihak with whom he shared over 56 years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Jacob L. Cihak and Theresa Bittenbinder Cihak.

Jake lived in Hulmeville, PA. Graduated from Neshaminy High School (62), Langhorne, Bucks County.
Had been a fireman with the Hulmeville Fire Company. 
Proudly served in the US Air Force at the Strategic Air Command (SAC) Base in Orlando. FL. 
He was employed most of his life as a Field Engineer/Senior Service Technician for Computer Optical Scanners. Retiring after 37 years from the merged companies of Optical Scanning Corp./National Computer Systems/NCS Pearson. Several of those years he worked as the on-site service technician for all the company's scanners at Avon Company in Newark, DE. 
He lived in East Fallowfield for over 50 years and enjoyed music (especially 50's, 60's and Country). Also, watching NASCAR racing. His hobbies were collecting record albums and other forms of music, coins, Hess trucks, years earlier postage stamps. 

He was a loving husband and father and will be dearly missed.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by two daughters; Jacquelyn Cihak Stauffer (John) of Coatesville and Carolyn Cihak (Curt Simpson) of Coatesville, a sister Theresa Lesser of Medford, Oregon and a brother Frank Cihak (Paula) of Cody, Wyoming, four grandchildren  and two nephews. He was preceded in death by a son Christopher (Chris) Cihak and a sister Betty Cihak Rhodes.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. A Military burial will be at a later date.

A Celebration of Life Memorial dinner is planned for March 27, 2024 at Shady Maple Smorgasbord to coincide with what would have been his 80th birthday from 5-7:30 PM.
