Elizabeth Mae "Betty" Dennis

Elizabeth Mae "Betty" Dennis, 97, of West Grove, PA, passed away Monday, October 24, 2022 at Jenners Pond, West Grove, PA. She was the wife of the late John Charles Dennis, Sr. Born in W. Whiteland Twp., Chester County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Mae Diem.

She was an employee for 34 years of the former Lukens Steel Co., Coatesville, PA starting as a stenographer and working up to an order editor. After retiring, she and her husband   moved to Murrells Inlet, SC where they resided for 24 years. She was an active member of the Surfside Presbyterian Church, Myrtle Beach, SC.

After her husband died, she moved back to PA to be near family residing at Jenner's Pond Retirement Community.

She is survived by two sisters; Dottie Keihm of West Grove and Nancy Christy of Wilmington, DE, stepson Douglas Dennis (Cheryl) of Irasburg, VT, and step grandson John Dennis, III of New Castle, DE. She was preceded in death by two siblings; Harold Diem and Jane Pearl and one stepson John C. Dennis, Jr.
