Brian Gilbert was a valued employee of Lipkin’s Furniture Srore in Coatesville for over 35 years. He was promoted from driver to warehouse manager because of his attention to detail, his leadership ability and his unique way of relating to management and customers alike. His good humor and loyalty were especially valued during the time of declining of one of the owners. He was very much appreciated.

I was so sorry to hear that Brian passed away, and was immediately taken back to the days of the Illes-Gilbert-Spotts get togethers.  i remember the days and the people with great fondness, and it makes me smile when I recall the three Gilbert brothers, the nicknames you had, and the fun we all shared.  Our parents were all great friends, and our generation was naturally drawn into the friendships.  Those memories are dear to me, as are the people who shared them, and I'm so very sorry for your loss.
