Our dear mother Eva Jane Hyde (nee Sharitz) went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 6, 2023 at the age of 89 years old. She had been a resident of Tel Hai Retirement Center, since 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Russell Frank Hyde, with whom she shared 35 years of marriage until his death in 2017.

Born in West Chester, PA, she was the daughter of Ernest R. Sharitz and Edith (Plank) Sharitz Lamar, and is survived by her two sons, Greg P. Krajewski (Karen) of Honey Brook, and Kenneth F. Krajewski (April) of Charleston, SC, five loving grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Ernest (Ted) Sharitz and wife Sara of Selinsgrove, PA, and sister, JoAnn Stoltzfus of Gap, PA, and many nieces and nephews.

She was an area resident all of her life and a 1952 graduate of the former Scott High School in Coatesville, PA. She was a member of The Forks of the Brandywine Presbyterian Church of Glenmoore, PA. A former supervisor for JC Penney Catalog Department for many years, in her spare time she enjoyed roller skating, ballroom dancing, spending time with family at the beach, and accompanying her husband to deejay for many social events.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 10:30 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA  followed by interment at the Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer, PA. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing at the funeral home from 9:30 AM to the time of the service.
