64 Years
Caln Township, Pennsylvania

Brenda Lee Morris, 64, of Caln Township passed away peacefully with her beloved son at her bedside on Tuesday, July 19,2022. She was the companion of the late Kenneth Patton, who predeceased her in 2019. Born in Exton, Pa, she was the daughter of the late Rufus and Rose Stone Roop.

Brenda was known far and wide for her cooking abilities. She possessed a Food Service License which enabled a career where she enjoyed many years of experience running local area kitchens. Any who had the privilege of a meal with Brenda’s homemade tomato sauce rated it tops! And that was just the tip of the iceberg. People raved about the meals she prepared and the joy and laughter she brought to the room. She had a great sense of humor.

She was a kind-hearted, giving soul who was always providing her company and deliciously prepared homemade meals for those who were ailing and in need. She provided fine food along with much love and support. And she was a woman of great strength. Brenda was courageous and loyal and loving and giving and found much joy in helping others.

Brenda loved to garden, “getting her hands in the dirt”, along with the fruits of her labor. She was a flower enthusiast and loved to see the bright colors and beauty. Brenda was widely known for her love of color often seen in tie-dyed apparel along with colorful hair and fingernails. She loved birds, especially eagles, and always enjoyed a good day out fishing in the sun.

Brenda was survived by her son Zachary Morris, sister Bonnie (Glen) Yoder, nephews Lenny (Erin) Patton, Chris and Richie Mullen, nieces Jesse Yoder, Courtney Patton and Stephanie (John) Kaine, great nieces Emma Patton, Laney Kaine, and great-nephews Dario Formica, L. J. and Connor Cain, stepson Kenny Patton and grandchildren Tristin and Addison Patton among many beloved friends. Brenda was preceded in death by brothers William (Bill) and Donnie Roop.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held in the near future and details will be posted here upon completion.
