William D. Estes, Jr., 63, of Glenmoore, passed away on Wednesday, May 11th, 2022 at his home.  He was the beloved husband of Stacey L. (Hillman) Estes, with whom he shared 39 years of marriage.  

Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Betty K. (Peszko) and William D. Estes, Sr.  He was a 1976 graduate of Coatesville Area Senior High.  

He worked as a Truck Driver for 20 years at National Rolling Mills and most recently worked as a dispatcher for Allan Myers.

Bill enjoyed solving crossword and sudoku puzzles while drinking Miller Lite on Saturday nights. He could often be found in his favorite chair watching “Mysteries of the Abandoned”, “Shark Tank”, and “ Swat” or listening to his favorite rock bands. Bill enjoyed cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, Phillies, and the Flyers.  He attended every soccer practice and game for his grandson and really loved just being with his grandchildren.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by two children: son, William Estes, husband of Jessica, and daughter, Casey Estes; grandsons, Bryce, Gabriel, and Landon, and granddaughter, Jenna; and sister Janice Estes.  He is also survived by his dogs, Negan and Wednesday, and cats, Spud, Po, and Sassy.

Bill was predeceased by his son, David, and his grandson, Brantley. 

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 18th, 2022 at 11 AM at Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, with a viewing from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. The family is inviting those in attendance to dress casually-- rock band tee shirts, Dallas Cowboys, Phillies or Flyers, and/or Miller Lite attire is encouraged.
Following the service will be interment at Holy Ghost Ukrainian Cemetery.

dear  janice, jessica and family.                                                                                                                                                                                 may 19, 2022

im so very sad to hear of billy's loss, i  have not seen him  i guess since the early 70's   them good days billy  and family were very close to my mom n dad i remember them days going to their house and play outside while our parents sat inside.  i wish them days were back. thinking of you all . love randy.
