Uncle Root had a long life filled with many experiences. I will always remember trips to the mountains with he and my godmother, Libby Root. I can still picture him wearing a hair net making hurka and kielbasa at St. Mary's on Gap Rd. He was certainly one of a kind and no one else can take his place. I am honored to have known him and been part of his life for 59 years. I will truly miss him.
