I first met Joe in the early eighties. Being an owner operator myself, I would often go past his home along Rt 30 and he and I had similar Diamond Reo trucks. One day I stopped to meet him, and we quickly became life-long friends. Joe was a unique individual for sure. His sense of humor and wit were enormous. Over the years I have doubled over and lost my breath laughing at some of the remarks that came out of that mouth of his. I've seen him at his worst, and I've been with him when he was at his best. I will miss him so much and the loss of him will take quite a while to process. Nell, please know that Linda and I are here for you if you are in need.
