Kenneth Wyse Young, 81, of Highland Township, Chester County, passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at the Jennersville Regional Hospital, West Grove, PA. He was the husband of the late Maryellen "Debbi" Sheffy Young who passed away in 2009. They shared 45 years of marriage together. Born in Tazewell, VA, he was the son of the late Garland Wyse Young and Mellie Frances Dillow Young.

Ken was an area resident most of his life and a graduate of the Unionville High School. Following graduation he was employed by King Ranch. In 1962 he enlisted in the US Army and proudly served in active duty for two years.

He was employed as manager for over 50 years by Runnymede Farm and more recently by the Bentley's of Runnymede Farms for the past seven years.

He is survived by two children; Heather Young and fiance Christopher Kessler of Coatesville and Jeff Young and wife Holly of Oxford and two grandsons Brock and Hayden Young. He was preceded in death by three siblings; Velma Jean Corum, Clayton James Young and Gerald Ray Young.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 12:00 noon to 3:00 PM at the Beale Manor, 200 S. Church St., Parkesburg, PA 19365. Please note, Military Honors will promptly begin at 12:00 noon.

Jeff and Heather,
