Catherine M. Elder, 58, of Parkesburg, passed away at Broomall Manor on Saturday March 13, 2021. Born in Philadelphia she was the daughter of C. Robert Jackson and Carole A. (Tschopp) Jackson. She was the beloved wife of Greg Elder with whom she shared 34 years of marriage.

Catherine was a graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School of Philadelphia and was most recently employed by the Octorara School District. She was a member of Our Lady of Consolation Church in Parkesburg and previously served as a leader for the Girl Scouts.

She is survived in addition to her husband by two children; Jacquelyn (Elder) Donohue and her husband Dennis of Kinzers, PA and Joseph Elder and his wife Allyse of East Prospect, PA; she is also survived by four grandchildren; Ryan Donohue, Kylie Donohue, Liam Elder, and Jaxson Elder. Additionally, she is survived by three siblings; C. Robert Jackson Jr. of Philadelphia, David Jackson of Quakertown, and Patricia (Jackson) McLaughlin of Philadelphia.

A catholic mass and burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Friday, March 19, 2021 at Our Lady of Consolation Church, 603 W 2nd Ave, Parkesburg, PA 19365. Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation period which will take place from 9:30 AM until the start of the service.
