Thomas J. Haines, 63, of Coatesville passed away at his home on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. He was the husband of Beverly D. Haines with whom he shared 40 years of marriage.

Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Beatrice (McGinnis) and Harry R. Haines. Thomas attended Coatesville Area High School and went on to work as a steelworker at ArcelorMittal of Coatesville for 35 years.

Thomas enjoyed riding his Harley and taking adventures to the mountains and the beach accompanied by his closest friends and family.  He enjoyed feeding the birds and tending to his garden and fishpond, both of which he created. He loved hunting and fishing or anything that let him be outdoors and connect with nature. He was a craftsman who could build anything.  His work included parts of his home, a treehouse for his grandson, and a playhouse for his daughters. Most of all he enjoyed sharing his memories and knowledge with those he cared for the most.

He is survived in addition to his wife, by two daughters:  Jennifer L. Anderson and husband David of Wilmington, Delaware and Allison L. Haines; and his grandson Nasir Curtis.
