Mimi, John, Anthony and Curry......I am so saddened that your mother has passed  .  She always was a great and fun Aunt for me and my sister Kathleen.  She was glamorous and we were just so happy when she came to visit.  My mother was Clares' older sister....I hope they have found each other in heaven with Grandma and Grandpa and Uncles Jack and David.  They belong together for eternity.  And finally..Think of Clare as living in the hearts of those she touched..for nothing loved is ever lost and my Aunt Clare was loved so much.

Dear Mary, Curry, John & Anthony,

I was so sad to hear that your mom died a month ago. My mother died last week -- the Two Claires, such lifelong friends and so many many fond memories of all the Lawless-Hanavan traditions and get-togethers, especially in those childhood years. The two of them wouldn't never stop talking, until finally your dad would have go sit in the car and beep the horn, which made us all laugh.  I still dream about your mom's strawberry cheesecake - in fact, we measure all cheesecakes against that recipe and it hasn't met its match yet. I'm so glad to hear that your mom was able to get back to the farm and enjoyed the peace and beauty of the place that she loved so much. Sending best wishes to all of you at such a sad time.
