Kathleen M. Barker, 78, of Oxford, passed away on Saturday, November 7th, 2020 surrounded by her family, under the care of Reading Hospital.  She was the beloved wife of Robert Barker, with whom she shared 57 years of marriage.

Born in her childhood home in Parkesburg, Kathleen was the daughter of the late Ada (Gibson) and Harry L. Moore.  She was a 1961 graduate of Octorara High School.

Kathleen was a secretary at the former Beloit of Downingtown.  More importantly, she was a wonderful homemaker who enjoyed cooking, gardening, and housekeeping.  Inspired by her daughter, Kathleen enjoyed making dolls.  She also enjoyed attending craft shows, painting, and writing poetry.  Kathleen will be remembered as a humble, loving, generous person who was kind to everyone she met.

She is survived, in addition to her husband, by her two children: Tracy Mahaffey, wife of Monte, and Jeffery Barker, husband of Amber; grandchildren, Benjamin Mahaffey, husband of Amy, Nate Mahaffey, Graham Mahaffey, Mariah Gondek, wife of Chris, Quinn Barker, Aiyana Barker, Gabriel Barker, Alexia Barker, and Jezzell Barker; and great-grandchildren, Dean, Christopher, and Aires Gondek.

A memorial service will be announced at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a school near to Kathleen's heart, St Labre Indian School, and mailed to Tongue River Rd, Ashland, MT 59003.  A donation can also be made through the School's website by clicking HERE.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilde Funeral Home of Parkesburg.  Online condolences can be posted at www.wildefuneralhome.com

Condolences

My heart goes out Bob and the rest of the family on the loss of a wonderfully unassuming, quiet and kind lady. Aunt Kay was more of a "cool" teenage cousin than an aunt, having been born on my mother, Winnie's, graduation day. She will be missed.

Bob, Tracy and Jeff, I am very sorry for your loss.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.  Kay was my friend since 8th grade, and I will miss her dearly, but she will always be in my thoughts.
