Florence E. Taylor, 86, of Parkesburg, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at the Brandywine Hospital surrounded by her family. Born in Parkesburg, she was the daughter of the late William J. Davis and Maude Benner Davis. 

Florence was employed for over 20 years by Unisys in Downingtown retiring in 1991. She enjoyed playing the lottery and most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. 

She is survived by two sons; John Taylor and wife Kathy of Coatesville and Jim Taylor and wife JoAnn of Parkesburg, son-in-law Tom Valentini of Parkesburg, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one sister Jean Welsh of Thorndale and special niece Gladys Irwin of Coatesville. She was preceded in death by one daughter Ann Valentini and three siblings; Grace Lammey, Roy Davis and Orville McLaughlin.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 30, 2020 at 11:00AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing from 10:00 AM to the time of the service. 

In order to protect those at-risk, please wear a face mask and practice social distancing while at the funeral home.

John, Jimmy & family,  I am very sorry for your loss as well as ours. I remember my Aunt Flossey as a kind and caring person. Everytime we met she smiled and hugged me. I will always cherish those times. She will truly be missed.

Such a great lady...she didn't know us all that well but always asked Holly about us and how we are doing. To me that says a lot about the kind of person she was . We are so sorry for your loss.

John & Jim and family,

Our sincere condolences for your loss.  We all remember Aunt Sis fondly.

We will not be attending due to the current health situation.  Mom is 94 and at Harrison House, while her health is pretty good, can not take chances.  My wife Chrissy just finished a years treatment for cancer and has no immune system right now.
