Dolores D. Wood, 63, of Drumore, PA, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020 at the Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA. She was the beloved wife of Jay D. Shenberger with whom she shared eight years of marriage. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Paul Wood, Sr. and Ethel I. Wimer Wood. 

Dee was an area resident all her life and a 1974 graduate of the Octorara High School. 

She worked for Research & Development for J&A Foods/Dutch Valley Food Distributors Inc in New Holland as a quality control manager, and most recently for Cortes Unlimited in Conestoga.

She is survived, in addition to her husband, by two daughters; Stacy Leigh of Quarryville, PA and Teresa E. Crego of New Holland, PA, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and two brothers; Paul Wood, Jr. of Huntingdon County and Richard Wimer of Tioga County. She was preceded in death by a sister Donna P. Baum.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2020 from 12noon to 5:00PM at Wissler’s Farm, 196 Tucquan Glen Road, Holtwood, PA 17532.

Dear Jay and Family. . . It is with a very heavy heart that I say Im sorry for your loss. Dee was a beloved freind and coworker at DutchValley. Dee and I had many great conversations about you and your family. She was a fun, caring, lovley freind that made a life changing impact on me. I pray that her memories sustain you and give you peace. She truly be missed!

So sorry to hear of Dee's passing.  I worked with her at Sealed Air Corporation.  She was always so friendly, caring and welcoming.  She always had a smile on her face.  I pray for strength and comfort for her family and friends.

I am so sorry to hear about Dee's passing. I worked with her at Dutch Valley Foods. She was one of the nicest women I have ever met, like to laugh, and dearly loved her family.

Wow, I just heard about this. We worked together at Sealed Air in Modena. My buddy Dee. Always a happy person. May God bless and keep you. My condolences to her husband and family. May God also bless you and help ease your pain throughout this time.
