My heart breaks to hear that Mitchell passed away.  Myself along with my twin brother David Lerch were on the High School Track Team.  I know everyone always says this about someone when they pass away, however, he always had a smile on his face.  He was not only a great teammate and runner but a wonderful friend.  May his family know and feel how much he was loved.

Lois, Mark and family, I'm sorry to learn of Mitchell's passing. I hadn't  spoken with him in years, yet I often think of him and that year when we were the two best players on a terrible basketball team. We licked our wounds, laughed at times and maybe we learned not to give up. May your faith, love and best memories sustain you in your loss.
