Michael Kevin Colyer, 59, of East Fallowfield, passed away on Friday, July 3rd, 2020, surrounded by his family.  Born in Coatesville, he was the son of Kathryn (Johnston) and Glenn Colyer of East Fallowfield.

Michael was a 1979 graduate of Coatesville High School.  He worked for over 20 years at the former Quebecor in Parkesburg and later as an equipment operator in construction.  

He was a member of the Polish American Club, West End Fire Co., Moose Lodge, and the VFW.  

Michael loved watching the Eagles and NASCAR.  He enjoyed taking his family crabbing and trips to the beach and the mountains.  He'll be remembered as an easy-going person who made friends wherever he went.  

He is survived, in addition to his parents, by five children: Lynn Colyer Owens, wife of Greg, of Kinzers, Jacqulin Colyer of Orlando, FL, Paige Colyer of New Bern, NC, Michael Colyer of Frederick, MD, and Matthew Colyer of Frederick, MD; one stepson Marquis Olinick; two grandchildren, Devon Colyer and Dominic Owens; and three siblings, Glenn Colyer of Sarasota, FL, Karen Taylor of Cochranville, Pa., and Scott Colyer of Lebanon, PA.

The service will be private.  Interment will take place at Friendship Methodist Cemetery in Gum Tree.

Uncle Glenn, Aunt Katherine, Glenny, Karen and Scotty our prays are with your family. I always remember the good times we had at his grandfathers farm when we were younger. They were the good times. I can see him in heaven with that ornery Colyer smile on his face.
