Peter Dmytryk, 84, of DeLand, Florida, formerly of Coatesville, passed away at his home in Florida on Monday, May 11, 2020. He was the husband of the late Audrey Anne Wemett Dmytryk with whom he shared 48 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Stephen Dmytryk and Sophia Prydun Dmytryk. 

Pete was a resident of Coatesville most of his life. He was employed for 47 years by the former Lukens Steel Company in Coatesville as a millwright. He was a parishioner at St. Peters Church, Coatesville, PA. 

He is survived by two sons; Stephen B. Dmytryk of Millsboro, DE, and Edward J. Dmytryk of Coatesville, his companion Patricia J. Brown of DeLand, FL., two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son Peter Dmytryk and three brothers and one sister.

My prayers are with you two and your dad was a good man we shared Happy and Sad times but. even though we got threw. I admired him and loved them both him and your mom. He was always there for my kids and and awesome grandad. He will be remembered and missed.
Ashley told me the other day he was the glue of the family and I think about it and she is right .

I'm going to miss you a lot pops. Mom mom had everything ready for you last Monday morning and came to get you. I know that you two are together now and it makes me smile. I have to say thank you pop cause you brought us all together again before you left I'm going to miss you a lot and I'm glad I got that last call to you. It does hurt your gone but you got the love of your life back and that makes me smile. Hey pop one day I'm going to get your goat and I will be protected again and I'm going to live with y'all too. I love you pop and give mom mom a big hug and kiss for me.

I'm blessed to be part of this family pops and mom mom welcome me into the family with open arms I'm going to miss pops he was like a grandpa to me that I never had he was great to my kids and me I love hear the stories he told and the time we spent he is truly going to be missed the whole family is in my prayers .

Poppy you will be missed so much. You were the best grandfather and great- grandfather anyone could ask for. We felt very loved by you and will cherish all the memories. You have been on my mind everyday since that last phone call. Family was always important to you and because of you we were brought back together. I will be forever grateful that we seen you more often this past year or so. We love you so much and one day we will see you again. I know you and mom-mom are smiling down at us. You will be missed so much you were like a father to me you always gave me a hard time i guess I will miss that more than anything and excepting me back into Steve's life with open arms you were loved so much. You will be missed but know you will joined with the love of your life and looking down on the family together.
