Elizabeth G. Hershey, 89, of Cochranville, PA, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2020, at Moravian Manor in Lititz.  She was the wife of the late, William E. Hershey who passed away in 2017.  Born in Bart Township, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Violet Thompson Groff.  Survived by one sister, Janet Johnson, Rising Sun Maryland.

An area resident most of her life she worked as a seamstress at sewing factories in Christiana and West Grove and as a clerk in area convenience stores.  She was an active member of the Cochranville Methodist Church.

She enjoyed baking, sewing, and knitting.  She was a Member of the Cochranville Fire Co. Ladies Auxilary 

She is survived by her children; William E. Hershey Jr. and wife Sally, J. Robert Hershey and wife Yvonne, Sharon H. Althouse, and husband John and Terri H. Linnenbaugh and husband Michael all of Cochranville, nine grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.

Due to the current restriction on public gatherings, services will be private at the convenience of the family.  In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Cochranville Methodist Church, 92 Church St., Cochranville, PA 19330.
