We love you so much mommom. You don't know how much of an impact you've made in my life. You've treated me like your own grandchild from the first day I've met you & that meant the world to me! I will cherish all of our conversations & memories forever. Everytime we go to rock hall I will think of you. Thank you for taking me on drives & teaching me how to drive! Thank you for making my wedding bouquet, I am going to cherish that with me forever. Thank you for taking Dakota to watch the boats. He has so many amazing memories with you & Poppop. We miss you so much but we are so glad you are not in any pain. We love you.

Betty was a part of Mortonville that will always remain.  Never failed that where you met her, she would greet you with a cheerful smile and a hug.  In her darkest times when she was not feeling well, she had time for other people.  She will be missed but thankful she is not in pain.  We were blessed to have known her.  Skeet and Dick Elvin - Mortonville

Jimmy, I am so sorry to hear that Betty passed. I can truly empathize with your loss, having lost my own spouse 10 years ago. Betty and I made many fond memories together in our younger years, as you probably know, before each of us met and married our spouses. Really fun times in her 49 Ford, going bowling, to Saturday night dances, shopping for clothes, rides on her scooter, taking Uncle's boat out on the Chesapeake for fun or crabbing those many summers we spent at the cabin. So many more I cannot recount here, but I am grateful for the "big sister" she was to me. Our lives may have taken separate roads over the years as we raised our families, and those few times we did get together she always greeted me with a smile and we had good times catching up. I am sorry I am not able to travel up for the service, but please be assured I will have you and the family in close remembrance, & prayers that you will find comfort and peace as you reflect on your own personal memories.

Fondly, Fonda
